Finance & Taxation ComplianceThe Ministry of Finance (MoF) on August 14, 2026, issued the notification to amend the notification no. 06/2026-Central Excise, dated the March 26, 2026, which states “Special Additional Excise Duty on export of petrol and diesel”

The following has been stated namely: -

• In the said notification, in the Table, against serial number 1, in column (4), for the entry, the entry “Nil” shall be substituted.

This shall come into force on August 15, 2026.
